I am very thankful for Kings ground school. I purchased the highest package for VFR ground and it was a very worthy investment. Not only could I do ground on my own time, but I also was able to go back and watch the videos over again if I didnt understand, and I was able go back and watch it as I was actually learning it within my flight training. And all the other videos you get with this package helped me as I was in my various stages, answer questions that arose, and was VERY well organized. I also appreciated that the videos were decently short, it helped me to focus and feel accomplished. For as much information we have to learn, this was the most helpful. And the practice tests were amazing. The PSI website only has one practice test, which was not helpful, but being able to do one-two a day was so beneficial. And it was pretty much the exact layout of the written exam, which helps eliminate some stress.

I thought the course was good for more practical stuff. The examiner did not dig deep on stuff as I thought they would, and have been told that they do. I have always been told keep your answer as short as possible or they will ask more and more. I feel like this course is a little outdated, and there needed to be some talk about the systems of an aircraft. There was maybe just a brief overview of the electrical, and fuel systems.
