I've been preparing off an on (mostly off) since 1978 to get my Private Pilots Certificate.  Life does take you on many adventures and sidetracks on your path to the License to Learn.  A few years ago it was time to make it happen ... and the first step I took was to buy the King Schools Private Pilot Course and started studying - well before I found a flight school and CFI.  The format with brief learning 'bites' - humor - the ability to access the material online anywhere and at anytime - made it a joy to study. The learning modules are always updating and evolving so I have always felt up to date.  Tough concepts are made easy.  Confidence is instilled by John and Martha.  I took my knowledge exam today and whizzed through the exam confident that I would score well - confident that I would score really well.  I made a 97 I only missed 2.  My only disappointment was with me.  Against the King's advice I changed an answer - from the correct one to the second best one - which was wrong.   I'm more than satisfied because I know the King's gave me the knowledge and confidence to score really well with "no stress".  I actually enjoyed taking the exam!

Detailed explanations, good visual aids, and humor.

Good course that should be required for all pilots regardless of experience. Some very good observations of how good pilots can ignore risks and the possible consequences.

Covers all the FAA acronyms plus King schools own brand of safety tips.

GREAT COURSE. almost all of the FAA test questions were covered exactly as in the KS Course

Excellent info on radio communication with appropriate real life examples in different Class airspace and non-tower airports.

I am already a private pilot and got this course as a refresher. Seeing risk management in action taught me so much. This should be required for anyone that got their license prior to the new standards.

Very thorough. Maybe sometimes too many repeated items, but with the intent of instilling knowledge, so I gave John a pass on that.

I took this course years ago and got a 98% on the test. This time I went through it again as a fantastic and fun refresher.
