Very helpful!

Great course.

I have used several online ground schools for the various certifications that I've been privileged to obtain -- Private Pilot ASEL, Instrument, AMEL and Commercial Multi-engine in the past 5 years. Of all the online courses; King has been the most thorough. I really appreciate the explanations in the videos of 'why' things are what they are. I was 50, when I had my first discovery flight. Some of my instructors have been younger than my oldest son. Those instructors were all good at instructing, but many times they could not tell me 'why' in their instruction. They were simply parroting what they had been taught and not fully understanding reason 'why', themselves. Understanding 'the why' is so much better than just memorizing an answer or response to a question. I really liked the King flight instructor course and plan to use King again in my next certification endeavor.

I think the study material, practice tests, and video explanations are great. However, my acutal test seemed very difficult, almost "out of left field" based on the study prep I did with averaging over 85% over the last couple days. I believe I can attribute this to new questions the FAA has introduced, my lack of understanding, and some "KEY" missing concepts from King Schools. I am embarred to share my score but I did pass.

Great study aid!! If you want to learn but also pass the exam with great scores!! This is the way to do it.

The King Schools material made it very easy to learn and re-learn topics with their repeatable video segments.

The score on the random practice exam was pretty close to what I actually got. There were quite a number of questions on the real exam I hadn't seen before, so I would say this course is in serious need of updating.

Runway markings and scenarios involving what you can and can't do after passing a CFI  checkride stand out as questions this course never really went over.

This course provided great review in preparation for my practical exam!
