I took an in-person instrument ground school about nine years ago, and I have to say that I have learned more from the King instrument ground school that I did in the in-person one.  Some of the segments are a little out dated, but the information throughout the course is very valuable and still practicable for today instrument flying.  I highly recommend it.

I tried a number of online ground schools but none them actually covered all the materials needed to answer all the published test questions, I would have been better off falling asleep while reading the PHAK cover to cover.  I still didn't quite feel up to taking the knowledge test and decided to give King Schools testp prep course a try.  I cannot understate how much more complete the king schools videos were compared to everything else out there.  Boosted by the confidence I got from the King videos I took the exam the day after complete the last lesson and got 100% of the question on my exam correct!

Great Test Preparation!  Highly recommend Kings for anyone trying to get their instrument rating.

The website is an excellent layout and has such good information. After watching the videos I felt confident I would pass at least the ground portion because I knew what to expect.

pretty good information and is very useful for making good takeoffs and landings despite the fact it differs from what my instructor has taught me, but great information.
