I used King for my private pilot written and I never looked back! I just finished up using it for my Instrument Exam and it was really great!

I took a different provider for my private pilot and I enjoyed this one so much more! The in-depth explanations and videos were so much more enjoyable. I also liked the fact that there weren't any technical glitches or issues. A HUGE plus!

Wonderful course for the most part.  This course helped me in many areas of my learning.  But this was not the only course I was taking.  I started this course prior to my start date of a 141 school.  I continued this course simultaneously while in the 141 school.  I also was using both ASA prepware practice exams and Sheppard Air study guide and practice exam.  I indicated wonderful course for the "most part", cause I was surprised how much this course had airplane stuff since I purchased it as a helicopter course.  I've been told by more then one instructor that the FAA knowledge exam will have airplane questions even though you are taking a helicopter exam.  I've now taken Helicopter Private, Helicopter Instrument and Helicopter CFII exams.  Out of all three (3) exams, totaling 170 questions, there was maybe 2 or 3 questions that could be deemed airplane type questions.  I would not hesitate to use the King Schools courses!!!  The methods John and Martha King use are very easy to follow and understand.  Thank you for assisting me in my training.  Some may argue that I was taking too many courses and exams simultaneously.  But this is what I choose to do. It worked for me and my style of learning.

Lots of info, but a great review

I watched this video to take a break from the practice exams. It was definitely worth every minute. As a former military aviator I am surprised that there is not more emphasis on risk management and mitigation in civilian aviation (outside scheduled airlines and corporate). This is a great way to present the importance of risk assessment and management to general aviation.

Kings school did a great job of providing questions that matched the wording and examples given in the FAA test.

I'm not sure what I expected but this wasn't quite it. Martha had excellent knowledge but I don't think the questions covered enough. Barely any questions about weather, physiological effects, etc. While it was nice to see how a model checkride would go this would not prepare anyone for the knowledge portions unless they already knew the material.

While the content is still useful overall. It needs an update in "look and feel" and current tools used.
