Product reviews for Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII) & Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) Ground School & Test Prep Bundle

I REALLY liked the content of the videos and interactive materials, but I felt the test prep questions weren’t very well aligned with the knowledge test. Recommend using this to reinforce the material and additional test prep software to maximize score.  If you only want a strong passing score (80-90%) this should be enough to get you there, but you probably won’t maximize your test score with this material and reading the Aviation Instructor’s Handbook cover-to-cover alone as of January 2026.

I am working getting a certified ground instruction. The material was easy to absorb and the presenter was engaging. I aced my practice tests! I bought the wrong course for my goal and, after completing the FOI course, had to abandon my progress to by a bundle. My suggestion is to call King Schools and let them know your goal so they can direct you to the right product.

I feel much better about going through a program like this one that actually teaches you the subject matter instead of learning the answers to an exam from pure rote memory like from other training materials.

King Schools didn't only prepare me for the written exam but also to helped me really understand the material!
